Representatives from both McGarryBowen and USOC flew over to Glasgow to attend the orchestra recording sessions. On the arrival of the American creative team, they headed straight to our studios where final alterations were discussed and made to the track before heading, with the ink still wet on the manuscript paper, to the Grand Hall of Glasgow’s City Halls - an incredibly impressive Concert Hall to suit such a prestigious project, and home to the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
The orchestra recording sessions were engineered by Rupert Coulson of London’s Air Studios - a versatile engineer and producer who has worked with many of the world’s greatest artists, composers and producers (Sir Elton John, Razorlight, Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Danny Elfman).
